Please inform our staff if you are taking anticoagulants (blood thinners) such as coumadin, plavix or aspirin, or if you are taking insulin, as it may be necessary to modify your dosages.
Unless told otherwise, take all routine prescribed medication as you normally would.
Please bring a list of all medications you are taking, your referral slip and any x-rays you may have been given.
You may not have anything to eat or drink (including water) for eight (8) hours prior to the appointment. Take routine medications with a sip of water.
A responsible adult must accompany the patient to the office, remain in the office during the procedure, and drive the patient home.
Please wear loose fitting clothing with sleeves which can be rolled up past the elbow, and low-heeled shoes. Jewelry and dentures must be removed at the time of surgery.
Patients receiving IV anesthesia or conscious sedation cannot drive, operate hazardous machinery or make important decisions for 24 hours.
